1. Website Performance Analytics
We may use Google Analytics (or a similar privacy-respecting analytics tool) to collect anonymized browsing data about which pages are visited, visit duration, referral sources, and link clicks. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individuals. You can opt out by using your browser's privacy settings, a private browsing mode, or a "Do Not Track" extension.
2. Email Marketing
We offer a free email list and related resources. When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the IP address you subscribed from, your approximate location, email engagement metrics, and your on-site browsing behavior. Automated segmentation and split-testing help us send you content that is relevant to where you are in your journey. This data is stored in ActiveCampaign, our email service provider.
Our lawful basis is a combination of consent (for your initial subscription) and legitimate interests (for continued contact). Inactive subscribers are periodically removed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing [email protected].
3. Retargeting Advertising
We may use browsing data to determine which advertisements for our own content you see on platforms such as Facebook and Google. We only advertise our own content and never sell your data. Retargeting windows are typically limited to 180 days after your last visit. Advertisements may reflect your relationship with us (reader, subscriber, or customer).
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We maintain exclusion lists for users who opt out. Some data retention on exclusion lists may be indefinite to prevent you from being re-targeted in the future. You can opt out by adjusting your browser's cookie settings or by emailing us to request exclusion.
4. Product Sales, Delivery, Onboarding, and Updates
When you purchase a product, payment is processed by our third-party checkout provider, Spiffy Checkout, at secure.husbandhelphaven.com. Spiffy handles all card data; we never see or store full card numbers. We do receive your name, email, billing information, product purchased, and an indication of whether the transaction succeeded.
Where applicable, course access and community membership are delivered through third-party platforms (for example, Circle for community). Those platforms have their own privacy policies, which you are encouraged to read.
Our lawful basis is contractual (for sales and delivery) and legitimate interests (for onboarding, updates, and lifetime product revisions). Sales records are retained indefinitely because many of our products receive lifetime updates, but you may request deletion at any time.
5. Customer Support & Inquiries
When you contact support, we collect your name, email, and any additional information you willfully provide. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, as you reasonably expect a response to your inquiry. Support data is retained for up to five years.
Cookies and Tracking
Our site is built on Astro and served by Cloudflare Pages. We self-host our fonts and do not set cookies simply for you to read our content. Cookies may be set by analytics or advertising tools as described above, and by any embedded third-party content (such as YouTube videos) you choose to interact with.
Embedded Content
Articles and pages on this site may include embedded content (videos, images, social posts). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited those sites directly and may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with that embedded content.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16. Users under 16 may not submit personal information to us without parental involvement and permission.
Business Changes
If Husband Help Haven is ever acquired, sold, or reorganized, user information may transfer along with the other business assets. Any successor will be bound by the commitments of this policy or a substantially similar one.
